Artist's Statement:

As an artist, I strive to create works which have a lasting and deep effect on the viewer. Through my artwork, I hope viewers reflect upon themselves and their roles in society. I begin with the concept and meaning of the piece and then select the medium which best represents this concept. My impressions are drawn from society’s physical, emotional and spiritual experiences in life. Additionally, I investigate how individuals lives impact the world and portray these experiences through my pieces. Recently, several pieces have focused on self-destructive habits to include over-working oneself, negative self-talk and society's addiction to electronics.
