This piece was an attempt at telling a love story through sculpture. Two paths are built separately, eventually converging into one in-progress path. The shoes represent the individuals at particular times in their lives. This is illustrated by the size and types of the shoes and location along the timeline-like paths. The varying heights and steepness of the paths, reflect the individuals financial situations in time. This love story is not yet complete and therfore the sculputure is left intentionally unfinished.
